Discover why our senior home caregivers are “Angels”

Angel Companions seeks those special and unique individuals who merit the right to be called caregivers. Individuals who choose this path for the sense of pride and fulfillment they receive when caring for others. Care that is filled with dignity, respect and love for those they help.

All of our caregivers are insured and bonded and must successfully complete an extensive screening process prior to being placed in your home. This includes:

  • Criminal background check
  • Motor Vehicle checks (if applicable)
  • Competency testing (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)
  • Reference checks
  • Health screening (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)

In addition many of our caregivers are Certified Nurse Assistants and have training and experience in specialty care areas such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, arthritis, hospice care, mental and physical challenges. As part of Angel Companion’s reputation as a recognized “employer of choice”, we encourage our employees to complete continuing education.

All direct care workers are employees of Angel Companions and are protected under the state and federal Unemployment Compensation and Worker’s Compensation statutes.
